Nattakan ‘Ann’ Chomputhong
Partner
A licensed lawyer, in Thailand, with over a decade of experience in assisting international non-profit organizations and foundation work. She is also a certified notary (Notarial Service Attorney) by the Lawyers Council of Thailand. She is authorized to offer a full range of notary services. She earned her a Bachelor (Honor) of Law degree from Chiang Mai University Law School (2012). Since she has graduated, she has worked in the field of assisting international and local not-for-profits organzations and foundations.
She also has a speciality in providing advice on foundation and corporate registration, which includes being adept at dealing with different Thai government agencies such as the Ministry of Commerce, Department of Business Development (DBD) and the Revenue Department. Her broader experience includes assisting foundations with compliance, Wills and Estates/Probate, legal research, legal document translation, and bilingual law interpretation (Thai to English and vice versa).
Moreover, Ann is known for her client-centric approach. She is a reliable professional who ensures clients are consistently updated on the progress of their legal matters.
She also serves as the Thailand Country Manager for the Thailand not-for-profit foundation, BABSEACLE Foundation, which has included her role in providing legal advice and reviewing legal documents for the foundation.
Furthermore, Ann has been actively engaged in community service, legal education, and pro bono initiatives, demonstrating her commitment to both her profession and the community her entire legal career.
Sukanya 'Dear' Maneemuang
Partner
She is a licensed lawyer in Thailand, specializing in litigation and not-for-profit foundations. She has been practicing law since 2018. Her areas of practice include civil law, criminal law, contract law, property, Wills and Estates/Probate, as well as corporate registration and compliance. She is proficient in providing legal documents related to contracts and Wills. Additionally, she also has expertise in case planning, resolution, and providing various legal advice.
She also serves as a Legal Support Officer for the Thailand not-for-profit foundation, BABSEACLE Foundation.
Her passion goes beyond just legal proceedings. She is dedicated and passionate about fostering community relations and serving as a social justice activist. She has been providing legal support for pro bono cases in Thailand as well as advocating for human rights, with the goal of giving back to society and promoting justice and equality throughout the community.
Bruce A. Lasky
Senior Legal Consultant and Pro Bono Advisor
A U.S. born citizen, he has been a member of the State of Florida Bar Association, beginning in 1991. Since that time, he has had more than 23 years of experience providing legal assistance and legal support throughout many countries in Asia, and globally. His areas of practice include criminal law, business, contract law, property, wills and estates, corporate registration and compliance, estate planning and personal injury.
He also specializes in not-for-profit registration and compliance issues, and serves as a director on a number of not-for-profit organizations. This includes being a director for BABSEACLE Foundation, a Thailand foundation registered in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
It is important to note, while Bruce is a licensed lawyer in the State of Florida USA, he is not licensed to practice law in Thailand. His role in the Firm is generally to assist the Thai legal team in the consultation and communication functions with non-Thai/English speaking clients, and manage the interaction with these clients. All official legal actions, including working and communicating with administrative agencies, and all court appearances are attended and performed by licensed Thai lawyers.
Joe Lynch
Senior Legal Consultant
A solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and of the High Court of Australia for more than 40 years and has been an Australian Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer since September 1992.
His areas or specialties include having substantial experience in the areas of business property and contract law, wills and estates, tax and estate planning and general litigation with a specific emphasis on family, criminal law and personal injury compensation claims. He also does pro bona volunteer work in Chiang Mai with the BABSEACLE Foundation.
It is important to note, while Joe holds a current Australian Practicing Certificate, he is not licensed to practice law in Thailand. His role in the Firm is generally to assist the Thai legal team in the consultation and communication functions with non-Thai/English speaking clients, and manage the interaction with these clients. All official legal actions, including working and communicating with administrative agencies, and all court appearances are attended and performed by licensed Thai lawyers.
